About Event
Silent Book Club is a social group where readers meet in a cafe or social space to read together. There are already 2,200 similar groups (known as Chapters) in 60+ countries. Meet ups typically involve:
30 minutes: People arrive, order drinks, share what they're reading
60 minutes: Quiet reading hour
30 minutes: Optional socialising
The group is BYOB (bring your own book). There is no prescribed reading - you can read anything you like!
This is a special pop up addition of the club, where we'll be supporting Goodies, a brilliant charity which helps the planet and local community by supplying those in need with the surplus of others.
