Lessons in Scaling Tough Tech, A Conversation with VEIR

Join us during Boston Climate Week for a fireside chat and Taco-Tuesday themed happy hour with Tim Heidel, Co-Founder and CEO of VEIR and Jordan Stowe, Senior Director at CSC Leasing.

This event will begin with a 30-minute conversation about the growth journey behind the technical one. This conversation will trace Tim Heidel and VEIR's journey: what it actually took to finance a company building entirely new physical infrastructure, the capital decisions he'd revisit, and what scaling from a $75M Series B toward commercial deployment really requires when your customers are utilities, hyperscalers, and power developers.

VEIR, a Massachusetts-based company building next-generation superconducting power delivery systems, sits at the intersection of two of the biggest infrastructure buildouts of our time: grid expansion and AI data centers.

Following the discussion, join us for a Taco Tuesday-themed happy hour with fellow Resident companies and members of the broader Tough Tech ecosystem. Guests will be able to create their own taco at the Taco Bar and pick from a variety of margarita flavors. Hope to see you there!
