About Event

Mid-year in the events industry hits differently.

For some people, the year is exactly what they planned. But for others, it may have:

  • filled up quickly, and you're busy but exhausted

  • repeated the same type of work, and you're less excited each time

  • still has gaps you haven’t quite addressed

Maybe you are already thinking about 2027 or just trying to get through what's in front of you. Underneath all of that, there are usually questions like:

  • Am I actually being paid properly for this?

  • Why am I this busy for this level of work?

  • Is this sustainable?

  • Is this moving me forward or just keeping me busy but barely surviving?

Most event pros don’t stop long enough to actually answer them or this question: What is the rest of this year leading to?

This masterclass is that stop.

We’re going to look at what’s already in front of you — the clients, the projects, the gaps, the opportunities coming in — along with how you’re being paid and how your time is being used, so you can make decisions that improve not just the work you’re doing but how you’re paid, how you’re working, and what it leads to next.

Masterclass:

We’ll use actual work examples like repeat clients, upcoming projects, current gaps, incoming opportunities and go through situations like:

  • A repeat client comes back → decide whether to take it, reshape it, or respond in a way that increases your rate, improves the work, or creates space for something better

  • A project feels like more of the same → shift your role or visibility so it leads to stronger relationships and better opportunities

  • A new opportunity lands → quickly assess if it’s worth your time based on what it pays and where it leads

  • Looking at the rest of your year → make a few key decisions that improve how your time is used and what the next 6 months actually become

Workshop: apply it in real time

After the masterclass portion we go straight into a working session. You will:

  • Pick one current opportunity, repeat client, upcoming project, or gap to focus on and decide whether to keep it as is, reshape it, or approach it differently

  • Write the response you’d use: yes, no, renegotiation, or outreach

  • Use a decision framework you can apply every time work comes in

  • Build a shortlist of the events, clients, and work you actually want more of

  • Leave able to make one immediate shift that improves your time, your work, or what comes next

If you want the rest of your year to actually lead somewhere so that you are in a better place than where you started, get your ticket!
