What happens when two colleagues from complementary fields have coffee together? Join us in this laidback conversation between a Behavioral Scientist and a System Thinker to learn about the byproduct of the interaction of those fields: Behavioral Systems.

Steve Wendel, applied Behavioral Scientist, former Vice-President of Busara and founder of sistemaFutura, will welcome Ruth Schmidt, Associate Professor of Behavioral Design at IIT Institute of Design, for a conversation about this new subfield. What is it exactly, why is it relevant, and how do those perspectives add to one another?

Ruth will also discuss the Choice Triad Model, based on her paper with Zeya Chen and Veronica Paz Soldan, “Choice Posture, Architecture, and Infrastructure: Systemic Behavioral Design for Public Health Policy”.
