Phone-Free Nature Walk & Picnic
Some of the best days start with nothing planned. Just good people, good food, and something to do with your hands.
This is that afternoon.
What to Expect:
A phone-free nature walk & picnic in Central Park. We'll meet at 66th Street & 5th Ave entrance to the park (close to the green line), walk over to Sheep's Meadow together, and set up on a big tarp for a picnic.
It's BYOB and BYOF. We'll have some light snacks, but bring whatever you want to eat and drink.
Upon arrival, you'll get a Kanso Present Kit to lock your phone away, with everything you need to have a great phone-free experience.
🎲 Bring something to share.
A deck of cards. A frisbee. A guitar. A sketchbook. A board game. A book you can't stop talking about. A project you want feedback on. A poem you wrote. A recipe you're proud of.
The only rule: it doesn't need a battery.
👥 Who's Invited:
Ambitious and growth-minded people seeking a day off from their de(vices) and who consider deep human connection as a core part of their broader wellness.
📌 Can I come alone?
Yes! Many people come alone and leave with a long list of people they actually want to see again.
📌 Can I bring friends?
Yes, of course. But please have them register individiually (it's free!) so we can prep the proper number of Present Kits.
📍 Where:
We'll meet at 55th Street & 6th Ave (close to the green line) and hand out 'The Present' kits. Then we'll walk to Sheep's Meadow together.
