About Event

For our July meeting. we’ve planned another exciting field trip, this time to Fruitstitute, a magical spot in Glassell Park where luscious fruit trees thrive alongside California native plants!

Fruitstitute’s co-founder and orchard-care consultant Joanna Glovinsky will lead our workshop to answer our burning questions:

- If I already have fruit trees, what would be a good approach for adding natives to my yard?

-Or, vice versa, if I already have natives, how would I carve out a spot for fruit trees in my current landscape?

-What are the best pairings of fruit trees and natives?

-What are the best watering strategies?

-What about that most intimidating of all subjects — pruning?

Bring all your fruit tree questions and let’s get Joanna’s “fruitful” advice!

See you at Fruitstitute at 3pm on Sunday, the 7th of July!
