Ops Career Circle: tools for the job hunt
Hey ops friends 👋
If you’re currently in-between roles, exploring what’s next, or somewhere in the job search trenches - this one’s for you.
We’re hosting a weekly Monday afternoon session to do it all a little less alone.
Because let’s be honest - this phase can feel…a bit lonely. And unnecessarily hard.
So instead of doing it solo, let’s do it together.
This is a loosely themed, informal space to:
Share where you’re at
Talk through challenges
Exchange ideas, intros, and support
Or just listen in if that’s what you need that day
These sessions will be gently moderated by our brilliant long-time community member Ghilaine Chan (Growth COO) 💙
This week we'll cover...
This week we're swapping notes on tools. Trackers, AI assistants, browser extensions, the spreadsheets people swear by - what's actually useful and what's just busywork.
Why this exists
From our first Careers Hub pilot session, a few things came through loud and clear:
The best ops roles often aren’t advertised - they live in conversations, not job boards
Networking matters more than applications…but it’s hard to do consistently (and can feel awkward as hell)
The process is draining - long cycles, little feedback, constant resets
And most importantly: people don’t just need opportunities, they need each other
Who it’s for
Ops leaders currently in-between roles or exploring their next move.
What to expect
There’s no structure, no pressure to perform, and no expectation to “have it figured out”.
Just a room of people who get it - and are willing to help each other through it.
Drop in when you can. Come as you are.
