An Evening of Courage, Connection & Purpose hosted by KuraHealth
Join us for an intimate evening at the residence of renowned economist Nouriel Roubini for a candid, unforgettable talk on what it truly means to carry grief, sit with pain, and find your way through it.
KuraHealth is bringing together two remarkable voices:
Kevin Hines is one of the fewer than 1% of people to survive a jump from the Golden Gate Bridge. Kevin has turned the darkest moment of his life into a global movement for mental health, resilience, and the will to live. His story is not just one of survival, it is evidence that the human spirit, when met with the right support, is unbreakable. Kevin knows what it means to be consumed by pain so unbearable it feels permanent, and he knows what it means to come back from the edge of it and choose life every single day after.
Shawn Lesser is a pioneer of impact investing, co-founder of the first impact investment bank Big Path Capital, and founder of The Real Mental Health Foundation. When grief and mental exhaustion finally broke through the surface, Shawn faced the kind of pain that strips everything away and found that rebuilding from that place was where his real life's work began. He turned his darkest chapter into a movement to help others find their way through theirs.
Together, Kevin and Shawn will speak openly about what grief and pain actually feel like when you're living inside them. They'll talk about vulnerability, the slow work of recovery, the moments that became turning points, and how each of them found a deeper sense of meaning and purpose.
