​IFRS 18 takes effect for reporting periods beginning on or after January 1, 2027. Your profit will not change, but how results are classified and presented, and how management explains performance to investors and stakeholders, will. For mining + oil and gas issuers, the direct impact may appear limited, but commonly reported non-GAAP measures and industry KPIs could create real presentation, reconciliation, and disclosure challenges.
