About Event

Join us for the live recording + exclusive Q&A

What if you could learn directly from one of the world’s leading voices on connection, trust, and engagement — and ask your questions in real time?

You’re invited to a special live recording of the brand-new Beyond Icebreakers Podcast, where I’ll be interviewing Chad Littlefield, co-founder of We and Me and creator of We! Connect Cards. Chad’s work has helped thousands of leaders design experiences that spark meaningful connection without forcing awkward interaction.

This event gives you behind-the-scenes access to the full 60-minute conversation (not just the 20-minute episode that will later be released). You’ll hear the stories, insights, and examples that usually stay on the cutting room floor.

Then we’ll open the virtual floor for an exclusive Q&A, where you can dive deeper into the ideas, challenges, and opportunities that matter most to you.

What to Expect

  • Live podcast interview: A candid, story-rich conversation about how to create connection without cringe (For this part, you won't be able to engage with us, so that we can stay focused on our conversation).

  • Interactive Q&A: Ask Chad (and me) anything about engagement, warm-ups, trust-building, or designing better group experiences (This is where we'll invite you to turn on your camera and mic to join us).

Who This Is For

Facilitators, trainers, team leaders, L&D professionals, educators, community builders, and anyone tired of lifeless icebreakers who want proven, human-centred alternatives.

Why Join Live

  • Because what happens in the room is always richer than what ends up in the final edit.

  • Because you get to shape the conversation.

  • And because connection starts with showing up.

About the Beyond Icebreakers Podcast

Beyond Icebreakers explores what it actually takes to bring people together without relying on forced, awkward, or surface-level icebreakers. Each conversation features facilitators, authors, and leaders sharing real stories, tested strategies, and practical frameworks you can use in your own meetings, workshops, and trainings.

Season 1 of the podcast is set to be published in January. It features interviews with Mark Collard, Romy Alexandra, Meg Bolger, Gary Ware, Rachel Davis, Thomas Lahntaler, Phil Brown, Leanne Hughes and more...

About Jan and the Book Behind the Podcast

I’m Jan Keck, a facilitator, trainer, and author of the upcoming book Ice Melters: How to Warm Up Your Groups Without Awkward Icebreakers. The book is a practical guide for leaders, facilitators, and team-builders who want to create engagement and trust in an intentional, human way — especially for quiet, shy, and hesitant participants.

The podcast exists as part of the book project. These live conversations help me gather stories, challenge assumptions, and share real examples of what “melting the ice” looks like across different fields. Some insights may even shape the final chapters. And the full uncut interviews will be available as a bonus for book readers.

If you want early access, launch updates, and bonus resources, you can join the book list here:
