​We’ll start by meeting at the Greenwich Park Bandstand, then settle nearby to create our picnic base. Whether you're coming solo or with friends, everyone is welcome - it’s all about relaxing, enjoying good food, and meeting great people.

​Throughout the afternoon, feel free to break off into small groups to explore the park, discover hidden corners, and take in the views.

​🌳 What to Explore

​🌸 Flower Garden
A beautiful enclosed garden — perfect for a peaceful wander (note: no ball games or cycling allowed).

​🦌 The Deer Park
Keep an eye out for deer in the south-east corner of the park.

​🌳 Woodlands & Hills
Wander through woodland paths or climb for panoramic views across London.

​🌅 Sunset Finale

​We’ll wrap up the picnic around 9:00pm, then head to the Royal Observatory to catch the sunset (expected around 9:09pm).

​It’s one of London’s best hidden viewpoints — highly recommended if you can stay!

​Ever seen a bright green laser in the sky?

​That’s the Prime Meridian laser, projected from the historic Royal Observatory - marking Greenwich Mean Time.

​DLR: Greenwich, Cutty Sark
National Rail: Maze Hill, Greenwich
Underground: North Greenwich (≈15 min bus or short cycle)

Bike stands are available near entrances. Please follow path signage inside the park.

​🚻 Facilities

​Toilets: Available across the park (some may require a small contactless fee).
Café: The Pavilion Café offers food, drinks, coffee, and ice cream.

• ​🗑️ Please use the bins provided and keep the park clean

• ​🚪 The park closes around 9:30pm - don’t get locked in 😄
