About Event

Leading community-facing work requires more than strong strategy. It requires organizational cultures that support the people doing the work.

This interactive workshop will help leaders examine how internal culture can either support or undermine long-term organizational sustainability. Participants will explore healing-centered and trauma-informed approaches to leadership, with a focus on staff retention, supervision, repair, and creating environments where people feel supported while navigating difficult and demanding work.

In this session, participants will:

  • Explore practical healing-centered and trauma-informed leadership practices

  • Examine the connection between organizational culture, staff well-being, and retention

  • Consider how leaders can build healthier approaches to supervision and support

  • Explore repair as a tool for strengthening trust and relationships

  • Identify ways to create more sustainable environments for staff doing difficult community-facing work

This workshop is ideal for nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, executive directors, operations professionals, and anyone responsible for organizational growth and financial decision-making.
