โ€‹Bridging the Gap: Growth Stage Financing for Climate Technology An Investor Roundtable ยท London Climate Action Week

โ€‹Details

โ€‹๐Ÿ“… Wednesday 24 June, 11:30am โ€“ 1:00pm
๐Ÿ“ Central London (location confirmed on registration) ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Intimate group of 30 - VCs and LPs only
๐Ÿ”’ Chatham House rules

โ€‹About this event

โ€‹Climate technology companies are scaling - but the financing ecosystem isn't keeping pace. At the growth stage, particularly for hardware-intensive and capital-intensive businesses, a critical gap is opening up between early promise and late-stage readiness.

โ€‹This intimate, Chatham House rules roundtable brings together VCs and LPs during London Climate Action Week to get beneath the surface of what's actually happening in growth stage climate finance - and what investors at every stage can do about it.

โ€‹What we'll cover

โ€‹Discussion will be shaped by the group, with a focus on:

  • โ€‹The growth stage challenge โ€” why capital-intensive climate tech companies face a particular financing gap, and what's driving it

  • โ€‹What late-stage investors need to see โ€” and how early-stage investors can actively support companies to meet that bar

  • โ€‹The role of non-dilutive capital โ€” how debt, grants and blended structures support scale, and how equity investors can help unlock them

โ€‹Format

โ€‹Short opening perspectives from 3โ€“4 investors and practitioners across the capital stack - covering the US market, early stage, late stage, and institutional capital - followed by open roundtable discussion.

โ€‹Designed to be participatory, peer-led, and practically useful.

โ€‹Who should attend

โ€‹This session is designed for:

  • โ€‹VC investors active at early or growth stage in climate tech

  • โ€‹LPs with an interest in climate or impact more broadly

  • โ€‹Investors curious about the transatlantic picture and what Europe can learn from US market dynamics

โ€‹Spaces are limited and registration is subject to approval.
