Sweat Equity For Kids
There's no ticket for this one. It's free.
The only ask: give what you can to The Sports Museum.
Most people know the Sports Museum for the exhibits at TD Garden. Fewer know what it does with that platform. It runs character education and anti-bullying programs in schools across Greater Boston — Boston vs. Bullies, Stand Strong, and ALL IN — reaching about 50,000 students a year. It uses the example of this city's teams to teach kids about teamwork, courage, and standing up for the person next to them.
That's worth an hour on a Friday.
HOW THE NIGHT RUNS
6:00 — Doors Check in, grab water, meet a few people.
6:30 — Class 45 minutes, coach-led, all levels. Every movement scales up or down, nobody is being timed, and nobody is watching you. If you've never done F45, you'll be fine. If you train five days a week, you'll still get worked.
7:15 — Backyard games, drinks, food This is where the night actually happens. Cornhole and a few other games going, something to eat, something to drink. Stay as long as you want.
7:30 — Two minutes from me I'll say a quick word about the Sports Museum and where the money goes. Two minutes, then back to it.
8:00 — Out Early enough that your Friday night is still ahead of you. Get the pump in, hang for a bit, then go do whatever you were going to do.
WHAT TO BRING
Water, a towel, and sneakers you can move in. That's it — F45 has everything else. Come hungry.
THE ASK
Suggested gift: $25. Any amount matters, and none of it comes back to us.
100% goes directly to The Sports Museum through their own fundraising page. We never collect, hold, or process any of it — your receipt comes from them and your gift is fully tax deductible.
Donations close September 1.
Can't make it? You can still give. The link works either way, and plenty of people who won't be in the room still move the number.
75 spots. RSVP holds your place.
Hosted by Tommy Fisher, X-Factor Group. In collaboration with The Sports Museum.
