TMC Deep Dive | Closing the Gap Between Strategic Planning and Executive Development

​Most organizations invest in both strategic planning and executive development, but rarely connect the two. As a result, they miss opportunities to develop stronger strategic thinkers while advancing real strategic priorities.

​In this Deep Dive, Erik Pesner of CLA and Mary Beth Connolly, former Division Chief Strategy Officer at Schneider Electric, will share Proving Ground, an approach that develops strategic capability by having cohorts of leaders work on real strategic priorities, supported by strategy faculty and coaches.

​We'll then open the conversation to explore how organizations can better connect leadership development with strategy work, what's getting in the way, and what approaches are proving effective.
