Join us in Boston on June 10-11, 2026 for the IEEE Entrepreneurship Hard Tech Venture Summit, hosted at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC). Co-located with the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) International Microwave Symposium (IMS).
Meet ONLY HARD TECH VC funds, investors, and founders in one place—for a full-day.
Join a curated group of Hard Tech startups and Hard Tech investors to spend the day exchanging perspectives and learning from each other in structured roundtables, plus informal networking during coffee breaks, lunch, and post-event.
This is not a typical pitch event. It’s a format designed by Hard Tech investors and entrepreneurs to boost key relationships and accelerate the path to capital and commercialization.

HTVS is designed to connect Hard Tech-focused investors, startups (Seed & Series A focus), manufacturing partners, and the broader innovation ecosystem. The Summits target early-stage startups in the following technology domains: Advanced materials, Energy/Cleantech, Communications, Defense, Electronics, Photonics, Sensors, IoT, Semiconductors, Robotics, and Spacetech.
Please note that medical devices and life sciences are excluded from the HTVS.
All attendees are vetted to confirm their active involvement in the hard tech ecosystem, and ensure mutual value-add for all participants. The summit agenda emphasizes long-term relationship building, with roundtable discussions making up a large part of Day 1 — creating a structured format for deep discussions and collaboration on fundraising, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, commercialization, etc.
The second day of the summit is dedicated to a Half-Day Engineering Design to Manufacturing Workshop, which provides hard tech startups with hands-on mentorship from experienced manufacturing experts on navigating manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and the path from prototype to production.
