Bushwick Community Clean-Up: MLK Day of Service

​The Clean Bushwick Initiative and Bushwick Trash Lady invite everyone to volunteer for an MLK Day of Service focused on cleaning our community.

​We’ll meet at the center of Maria Hernandez Park to help clean streets and public spaces in the neighborhood. All clean-up supplies will be provided. Just bring sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

​Afterwards, join us for an optional hangout to connect with others who care about keeping Bushwick clean.

​Clean Bushwick Initiative is a neighborhood-based organization that leads regular clean-ups and advocacy efforts to keep Bushwick’s streets and public spaces clean.

​Bushwick Trash Lady is a grassroots initiative focused on reducing litter and changing waste habits through consistent, hands-on community clean-ups.
