THE RULES ↓
TEAM FORMAT
• Teams consist of 2 players.
• Combined team NTRP rating may not exceed 9.0. Ratings will be reviewed.
MATCH FORMAT
• All matches are played with serves.
• First 3 rounds: First team to 4 games wins.
• Semifinals & Finals: Best 2 of 3 sets, with a 10-point super tiebreak replacing the third set.
• No-Ad scoring throughout.
PLAYER ROTATION
• Both teams secretly select their starting player before the match.
• After every completed game, the player on court rotates out for their teammate.
• Once all four players have competed, players should next face an opponent they haven’t played yet.
• Continue rotating after every game until the match is complete.
TIEBREAK RULES
• At 3–3, a tiebreak will be played.
• First to 7 points wins.
• The starting player serves the first point.
• After the opening point, players rotate every 2 points until the tiebreak is decided.
TEAMMATES & COACHING
• The teammate on the bench is encouraged to cheer, communicate & coach their partner during the game.
