Train To Play - Mobility & Core

This is a 60-minute mobility and core session designed for surfers, snowboarders, surfskaters, and anyone who wants to move better, perform stronger, and stay in the game for life. Built around the same principles used to train elite and professional surfers, this class targets the movement patterns that matter most for board sports: spinal rotation, hip mobility, shoulder stability, and functional core strength.

Using self-myofascial release techniques, targeted stretching, and core training, each session works to release tension, restore range of motion, and build the stability your body needs to perform and recover.

Whether you're catching waves on the weekend, carving through the city on your surfskate, or managing the wear and tear of a demanding job and active life, this class gives your body the attention it needs to keep doing what you love — with less pain and more power.

No experience needed. Just show up ready to move.

Led By: Goksu Okar

Goksu is an EXOS Sports Performance Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer with a background that bridges elite athletics and everyday movement. A pro-level windsurfer since age 12, she went on to train alongside professional surfers at Deep2Peak in Maui, one of the most respected performance training facilities in the surf world, and now bringing that expertise to the city.

She picked up surfskating along the way and learned to surf after moving to Maui, so she knows firsthand what it takes to perform in board sports and what happens to your body when life gets demanding. Her mission is simple: take the tools used by elite athletes and make them accessible to anyone who's passionate about their sport and wants to keep doing it for decades to come.
