This Wednesday (5/6) at 7 PM, we will be screening a film by a Belgian director.

She has been called “one of the most important filmmakers of our time,” and her work has had a profound influence on feminist and avant-garde cinema. One of her films was ranked No. 1 in Sight & Sound’s poll of the “Greatest Films of All Time.” Long takes and a structuralist approach are defining features of her cinematic style. Taiwanese director Tsai Ming-liang has also mentioned being influenced by her work.

The film we will screen is her third narrative feature.
