Many experienced women hold back from senior leadership, advisory or board opportunities because they don't feel quite ready yet. More often than not, they already have more of what's needed than they realise.
In this Ellect Leadership & Board Pathways online session, we're looking at what "ready" really looks like, and why so many capable women underestimate the experience they've already built.
Our speaker
Magdalena Kosior-Molloy, MCom, FIPA, is the founder of Connextus, which advises boards and leadership teams on strategy, governance, finance and operations. An award-winning executive, she has led transformation in governance, financial systems and reporting across consultancy, professional services and corporate settings, and has served on advisory boards, leadership teams and committees. She also chairs the Ellect Advisory Board.
Magdalena will help you look honestly at the value of the experience you already have, where you might be underestimating yourself, and what's really expected at the next level, whether that's a senior role, an advisory position or a board seat.

How the session runs
Magdalena's talk runs for about 30 minutes, including time for questions. We'll then move into peer networking and mentoring, where you'll connect with women from other organisations and industries. The session is hosted by Ellect Founder & CEO Sandra D'Souza. Please come with your camera on, as the session works best when everyone can see each other.
When & how to join
Wednesday 18 November 2026, 6:00–8:00pm Sydney time (AEDT). The session runs for 2 hours, online via Zoom. Once your registration is approved, you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. Please join 5 minutes early with your camera on.
