Forest Tuning on the Mendocino Coast
What happens when you stop moving through the forest and let the forest move through you?
Forest Tuning is a three-hour guided immersion in the redwoods using movement, rhythm, song, silence, meditation, and shared exploration to awaken your senses and experience the forest in a whole new way.
We’ll slow down, listen, move together, make sound, spend time in silence, and explore ways of relating to the living world that many of us have forgotten.
You don’t need any experience with meditation, movement, or singing. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experience the forest differently.
We don’t teach people about the forest. We help the forest become a teacher again.
At the heart of Forest Tuning is relationship. By giving a place our attention, presence, and curiosity, we begin to notice more...and perhaps discover that the forest is far more alive, responsive, and mysterious than we imagined.
People protect what they have learned to love, and they love what they have taken the time to truly know.

*Each Forest Tuning explores a different place along the Mendocino Coast. Registered participants will receive the meeting location and arrival details before the experience.
Space is limited to 12 people, so we can move slowly and experience the forest together.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and layers, and bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch. We’ll end by gathering together for a picnic in the forest.
