This conference features a special post-conference Zen retreat, designed to provide participants with a unique experience of physical and mental healing and energy enhancement through the integration of nature, Zen meditation, and cultural landscapes. The trip will be led by professional guides, ensuring you can deeply experience each segment and learn meditation, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices.
Trip Highlights
• Mount Tamalpais: Depart from the school in the early morning and travel to the spiritual peak of the San Francisco Bay Area. Meditate at the mountaintop, overlooking the magnificent panoramic views of the Bay Area, experiencing the state of "harmony between man and nature," helping you regulate your breath and cultivate inner peace.
• Green Gulch Farm Zen Center: Visit this Zen meditation center founded by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi (Steve Jobs' spiritual mentor), a master of the Soto Zen school from Japan. Stroll through the Zen farm, practice ocean meditation on the beach, and feel the natural energy of the sea breeze and waves, allowing your mind to return to tranquility.
• Stanford University: After lunch, visit this world-renowned university. You will tour Stanford University's iconic buildings and take photos in front of the Stanford Memorial Church, where you will also participate in simple exercises. Here, you can experience the perfect blend of academic atmosphere and spiritual power.
