Holding Ground: Somatics Workshop

​As organizers, we know how important it is to nurture our abilities to stay in tune with ourselves, and build resilience and balance in these chaotic times.

​We are excited to host this 2nd somatics workshop as an invitation for all to ground and rejuvenate at the end of the summer season.

​In this workshop, we'll practice centering in the body, develop awareness of our somatic "shaping," and practice skills to stay grounded, clear, and resilient in the midst of change.

​Cost - This workshop is freely offered. Contributions are welcome to support the practitioner’s offering and cost of maintaining the space. ($10 suggested.)

​Accessibility - Masks are welcome but not required. The event space is up a flight of stairs. Participants are asked to refrain from wearing strong fragrances.

​GROUP PROJECT is a new space created to support locally focused projects in New Haven through relationships, resources, and skill-building.

​Anneke is a somatic coach and bodyworker trained at the Strozzi Institute and by teachers from generative somatics, now the Politicized Somatics Practitioners Collective. She lives in Western MA but still calls New Haven home. see www.jewelmirrorsomatics.com
