Bayer Tour and Career Panel

​​Join Biotech @ Berkeley (B^2) for an exclusive tour of Bayer’s campus, a site dedicated to developing and launching advanced medicines that target illnesses at their source. As a global hub for manufacturing innovation, Bayer is building the capacity to bring discoveries in cell and gene therapy from the lab to patients at scale.

​Schedule

​Part 1: Facility Tour (2:00 PM – 3:30 PM). Get a behind-the-scenes look at Commercial Manufacturing, Clinical Manufacturing, and Research & Development labs (as time permits). Attendees will be divided into two groups.

​Part 2: Career Panel (3:30 PM – 5:00 PM). Following the tour, we will host a career panel featuring personnel from Manufacturing, Projects, R&D, and HR. Catering, including sweets and coffee, will be provided.

​Getting There

• ​🚗 Carpooling: Highly encouraged! Please fill out the carpool sign-up sheet here to coordinate rides: Bayer Carpool Sign-up

• ​🚌 Public Transit: For students using AC Transit, the Line 36 bus takes ~20 minutes from the Bancroft Way & Telegraph Ave stop to the Bayer site. Get off at the 7th St & Cutter Way bus stop, a short walk to the main entrance.

​Important Requirements

• ​Limited to 35 people. Please RSVP early to secure your spot.

• ​For safety, all attendees MUST wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.

• ​Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
