G.R.I.T. Girls; The Courage To Become

​“No, you can’t be President. You’re a woman. How would you travel?”

​Those were the words I heard as an undergraduate when I shared my desire to run for President of my department’s student association.

​The part that hurts the most isn’t that someone said those words.

​It’s that I believed them.

​I never contested. I never gave myself the chance to discover what I was capable of. Looking back, I often wonder how many young women quietly shrink; not because they lack competence or ambition, but because they’ve been convinced they shouldn’t even try.

​G.R.I.T. Girls: The Courage to Become was born as a response to that question.

​This isn’t just another webinar. It’s a conversation for female undergraduates who are ready to challenge limiting beliefs, embrace their potential, and courageously pursue the lives they know they were created for.

​Through a keynote session and interactive panel discussions, we’ll have honest conversations about leadership, purpose, finances, ambition, faith, career, confidence, navigating university, and life beyond the classroom. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your own questions and learn from women who are building meaningful lives and careers.
