The Session with Nestor Torres + Party Before Politics with DJ Genesis

The Session with Nestor Torres
On September 11, 2001, Latin Grammy winner Nestor Torres was set to receive his award. The ceremony never happened. In the days that followed, he wrote The Poet’s Revolution, a song that ends in hope, and then he held on to it for 25 years. This September 11, he finally let it go.

Come hear the story behind it in an intimate, creative conversation about FREEDOM, hope and the courage to share your voice. No lectures, no waiting your turn. Jump in, ask your questions and be part of it.

Party Before Politics: Election Night Watch Party
Then the music turns up, the TVs go on, and we watch the results roll in together. Red, blue or somewhere in between, everyone’s welcome. On Election Night, the party comes first.

Music by DJ Genesis. Originally from the Bronx, DJ Genesis has long been a figure in the Miami party scene, and for the past five years he has set the tone at Florida Panthers home games from the 109 Stage. He joins FREEDOM as our Music & Entertainment Producer.
