Get Hired in a Tough Job Market

​Looking for work in a tough job market can be exhausting, especially when you’re applying, hearing little back and starting to question what more you should be doing.

​This free career workshop is designed for Islington, Camden, Hackney and Haringey residents aged 18+ who want practical support to strengthen their job search, improve how they present themselves to employers and feel more confident about their next move.

​We’ll cover practical areas including CVs, interview preparation, LinkedIn, smarter job search strategies, confidence and how to position yourself more effectively.

​The session will be led by Miriam Owusu, Career Strategist and Founder of Miri Elevates, in collaboration with Whittington Park Community Association.

​Miriam brings over 10 years of commercial experience across sales, partnerships and professional services. She has supported job seekers at different stages of their careers, helping people improve their CVs, prepare for interviews, strengthen their LinkedIn presence and secure new job opportunities in a challenging market.
