Murder in the Bookshop
A body was found in Toronto’s favourite bookshop/ “speakeasy.”
Your job is to find the killer and turn them in... unless you have something to hide.
Grab a drink, put on your best 1920s-inspired outfit, and spend the night snooping, accusing your fellow book club girlies, and trying to make it out with your reputation intact.
A murder mystery. In a bookstore. At Halloween. We really couldn’t think of a better way to kick off spooky season.

Played with us last year?
We’ll be playing the same murder mystery game, so if you attended last year’s event, please sit this one out and give some new detectives a chance to play!
Dress code:
1920s-inspired outfits are encouraged, but absolutely not mandatory. We’ll also have a few props available to help you get into character.
Drinks:
We’ll be serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There will not be a full meal (we want everyone to mingle!), so please eat before you arrive!
Please be on time:
The game starts at 6:45 PM sharp. The beginning sets up the entire mystery, so if you miss it, the rest of the game will be very difficult to follow. Please plan to arrive with enough time to grab a drink and get settled before we start.
