MAAP x NOWcc · Summer Solstice ride [UTR]

​Hi there!

​NOWcc and MAAP are excited to welcome you to the longest ride of the year. The Summer Solstice ride is our annual celebration of the best light of the year, spent exactly where it should be: on the bike.

​Ride details:

• ​Doors open at 6:00 PM, rolling at 6:15 PM sharp from the Maats Utrecht.

• ​We ride to a mid-stop at around 35km for snacks, drinks, and a chance to meet the Amsterdam NOWcc and MAAP LaB crew, then head back to Maats .

• ​Route is around 65 km at a 28-30 km/h average. Rolling speeds outside the city are higher; we slow down on narrow roads and through the centre.

• ​One pace group. Group riding experience is required.

• ​First time riding with us? Arrive 10 minutes early for a quick safety briefing.

​What to bring:

• ​Mandatory: cleats, road pedals, and helmet

• ​Spare tyre, mini tool, pump or CO2

• ​Snacks and water bidons

• ​A well-maintained bike. TT handlebars are not allowed.
