Dundon Advisers Climate Week Kickoff Reception
Dundon Advisers LLC, Duke University, and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability USA invite you to a cocktail reception during NYC Climate Week.
Much of the week's programming approaches climate through policy commitments and sustainability targets. This gathering is built around a parallel question. Climate risk is as much a credit and restructuring challenge as it is a resilience issue, and aligning capital with restructuring capability is a condition precedent to advancing sustainability. It reaches the market through insurance costs, loan performance, and covenant pressure well before it reaches the policy debate, and the people who work on what happens next are rarely in the same room as the people setting the targets.
To help bridge this gap, the reception will draw on the newly released Resilience Finance Guidebook for Local Governments, developed by Duke University and ICLEI-USA, with Victoria Salinas of Duke, and lead author, helping ground the conversation in how communities can translate resilience priorities into financeable projects. This timely publication serves as a practical roadmap for aligning capital with regulatory, environmental, and structural factors, offering a clear path forward to successfully advance complex resilience projects from concept to funding.
The evening is informal and conversation-driven, bringing together investors, municipal and public-sector leaders, and practitioners working across adaptation finance and capital formation. We hope you can join us.
Space is limited, so book now.
