First published in 2021, and newly translated to English from the Portuguese, Role Play is a fresh satire narrated by a wealthy young woman in Rio on the verge of a class-consciousness awakening.
The novel has been featured by the LA Review of Books, the Chicago Review of Books, Kaia Gerber's Library Science, and of course on the shelves at Well Read.
Author Clara Drummond in joined in-store by writer Matthias Rosenzweig on 28th October for a conversation about the book, and its relevance to our increasingly weird times.
