Small Developers of Sacramento

Small Dev Sac is a monthly gathering for the people shaping Sacramento’s neighborhood-scale housing and development future, otherwise known as Missing Middle Housing.

Join small developers, designers, builders, planners, lenders, property owners, advocates, and curious locals for an informal evening of conversation, connection, and shared learning.

Whether you are actively working on a project, looking to get started, or simply interested in how more attainable, walkable neighborhoods get made, you are welcome here.

Join us as Small Dev Sac co-organizer Robert Ng, founder of Missing Middles, introduces the Three & Up Challenge. Robert will share how the initiative is responding to Sacramento’s evolving Missing Middle Housing Ordinance and exploring what small-scale infill development can look like under the new framework. He’ll also discuss how Missing Middles is building tools, resources, and a platform to help small developers better navigate the path from policy to real projects.

Come grab a cider, meet people doing thoughtful work in the region, and help build a stronger local community around small development.
