​We are pleased to share the details of our Day 3 Optional Activity on Saturday, October 10.

​We will visit Komoro Distillery, a new-generation Japanese whisky distillery beautifully located at the foot of Mount Asama. This is a rare opportunity to discover how Japanese whisky is made and taste KOMORO spirits while the distillery’s first single malt is still maturing.

​Schedule

• ​9:50 - Meet at the lobby of Karuizawa Prince Hotel West

• ​10:00 – Depart from Karuizawa Prince Hotel West by bus

• ​11:00 – KOMORO Experience Plus

  • ​Production Tour & Maturation Warehouse Tour – 40 min

  • ​Guided Tasting of 2 KOMORO Distillery Spirits – 20 min

• ​12:00 - Lunch at Komoro Distillery

• ​13:00 – Depart from Komoro Distillery by bus

• ​14:00 - Arrive back at Karuizawa Prince Hotel West
  *If you are traveling back from Karuizawa Station after the tour, we recommend booking a train departing after 15:00 to allow sufficient time for the transfer from the hotel to the station.
