About Event

London Trackers!

Autumn is upon us in London. With the change of the season comes new stories from the land. The red and fallow deer have begun rutting, badgers are feeding before the hard winter ahead, squirrels are burying acorns, and the spring fox cubs are beginning to carve out their own territory.

Join us in Richmond Park to follow the trail of these beautiful animals, with the park's storied deer taking centre stage. From the red and fallow deer, we will find tracks, scat, marks from antler rubs on trees and perhaps even rutting stations.

Our 60 to 90 minutes of tracking will be followed by a picnic and we invite you to bring food to share.

The tracking session is structured, with flags planted on animal sign to then be discussed in groups. In this way, it is approachable to those completely new to the trail as well as experienced trackers.

We will also send out a species list ahead of the visit to pre-load us all with knowledge of who stalks these lands. Don't hesitate to ask any questions ahead of time.

We look forward to seeing you all out in the wild...

See you on the trail,
Jack and Grace
