Join us for the PREORTHO America Launch Seminar, an educational event designed for pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and dental professionals interested in early intervention and craniofacial growth and development.
This seminar will bring together experienced clinicians to share clinical perspectives, treatment approaches, and practical applications of Preortho in everyday practice.
Registration includes 5 CE credits, all educational sessions, Preortho book, and breakfast and lunch.

Course Description:
The course reviews the principles of Preortho; understanding craniofacial underdevelopment and epigenetics, and the risks associated with lack of treatment. The course describes how the Preortho device works, indications, contraindications, treatment journey, clinic workflow and staff roles, model selection, patient care and wear time protocols.Learning Objectives:
To be able to understand the consequences of craniofacial underdevelopment and benefits of myofunctional therapy to promote nasal breathing which can help growth and development of children. Learn how Preortho devices can help promote correct tongue postures which can align teeth with proper arch development.
Timing Matters: Facial Development & Myofunctional Science - Nasal Hygiene, Mouth Breathing, and Sleep-Disordered Breathing by Nerissa Boggan
Course Description:
This course explores how early airway function, oral habits, and breathing patterns can influence craniofacial growth, oral function, sleep quality, and overall health. The course examines the relationship between nasal hygiene, nasal obstruction, habitual mouth breathing, altered tongue posture, and sleep-disordered breathing across childhood and beyond.
Learning Objectives:
Identify common clinical signs and functional patterns associated with nasal obstruction, habitual mouth breathing, altered oral rest posture, and sleep-disordered breathing.
Explain how the timing and duration of impaired nasal breathing and myofunctional dysfunction may influence facial development, oral function, and sleep health.
Implement practical screening, patient-education, referral, and interdisciplinary collaboration strategies to support timely evaluation and individualized care.
The Relapse You Can't Bond Away: What Braces Move, and What They Never Touch by Jonelle Crichton
Course Description:
Function is the piece most often missed, and the piece most likely to undo the result. Braces move teeth; they don't retrain a tongue, close a mouth, or change the muscle pattern that put the teeth where they were. This session is about learning to see that pattern — why recognizing it matters, why it has to be addressed alongside other treatment rather than after it, and why catching it changes what's still possible.Learning Objectives:
Differentiate functional and habitual etiology from its dental expression, and explain why tooth movement alone does not resolve the underlying muscle pattern.
Explain why early recognition expands treatment options, and why functional correction should be integrated alongside concurrent dental and orthodontic care rather than sequenced after it.
Apply a co-treatment and referral framework that defines the roles of the general dentist, the myofunctional therapist, and the orthodontist, including appropriate timing for handoff to comprehensive orthodontic care.

Course Description:
Early interceptive orthodontic guidance plays a crucial role in managing developing malocclusions and myofunctional habits in growing children. This lecture explores the clinical mechanism, indications, and protocol for implementing the Preortho in everyday pediatric dentistry.
