The Future of EV Battery Management Systems, Lecture #2

​Battery management systems are evolving fast – from next-generation 800 V platforms to software-defined vehicle architectures to shifting cell chemistries. Where is the technology headed, and what does it mean for the industry?

​The University of Michigan EV Center is hosting this event. Join us for two guest lectures by Alexis Adenot of Renesas Electronics on current and emerging developments in EV battery management systems. Topics include industry trends in battery cells and charging strategies, BMS and thermal management integration, electrical isolation and safety, and next-gen 800 V platforms.

​Alexis brings more than 20 years of experience in automotive electrification spanning manufacturing, engineering, product strategy, and sales – from mass-production BMS deployments to next-generation electric powertrain development. He lectures on electrification at INSA Toulouse and contributes to the Volta Foundation Battery Report.
