​🎉 Wings For Life = For Charity at the national F1 race track, Hungaroring 🏃‍♀️

​Join us at the Wings For Life Charity Race, organized by Red Bull. Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation established in 2004 to find a cure for spinal cord injury. It raises funds primarily through the annual Wings for Life World Run, a unique global charity event where everyone starts simultaneously, running or rolling (in wheelchairs) to escape a "Virtual Catcher Car".

• ​Mission: The foundation supports cutting-edge research projects and clinical studies worldwide, with 100% of donations and entry fees going directly to research.

• ​Origin: Founded by two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner and Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz after Kinigadner's son sustained a spinal cord injury.

• ​The World Run: This event, which runs on May 10, 2026, allows participants of all fitness levels to run for those who can't. It is often described as a "run, walk, or roll" event, allowing for both physical and app-based, virtual participation.

• ​Global Run Participation: Hundreds of thousands participate in the run, often with many doing so through the app, which features a virtual Catcher Car that pursues runners, ending their race when they are passed.
