​Welcome to the very first Thought Bizarre (!!!) 🕺🏻🌱👯‍♀️ a living-room thought salon for people who like asking questions, making connections, and occasionally going down strange rabbit holes together.

​At its core, Thought Bizarre is about one simple idea: everyone has something to teach, and everyone has something to learn. So what do we expect? Glad you asked...

​🌌 The Theme: Quantum Physics, Philosophy, and the Nature of Reality

​For our inaugural pilot chat, we are gathering an intimate group of 12-13 curious minds to bend time, space, and perspective.

​So how does it work? To keep things accessible, every session features the same topic looked at through two short, distinct lenses: an expert perspective and an amateur perspective.

• ​The Expert Perspective: Featuring Seph Freer, a physicist who will be sharing insights on Quantum Philosophy. Seph will help us explore what quantum mechanics implies about the structure of reality, free will, and determinism including the many-worlds / multiverse theory (the very real possibility that there are infinite versions of our universe where every possible outcome occurs, and every possible version of you exists).

• ​The Amateur Perspective: A wonder-led view touching on similar themes but with a touch of spirituality. We’ll look at how ideas that once existed purely as intuitive or philosophical musings by thinkers, poets, and artists are also spoken about and understood through physics.

​...and any other questions or tangents that emerge - we’ll see where the conversation takes us.

​🕯️ Your Part: The Offering

​This is a two-way street, NOT a university lecture. We would love for you to bring an Offering - a little something that connects to our theme of reality, choices, or wonder.

​Don't overthink it! This is not homework, it's just fuel for the conversation. Your offering can be absolutely anything:

• ​A short poem, a book snippet, or a lyric.

• ​A personal thought, an anecdote, or a weird coincidence that happened to you.

• ​A scene from a movie or a show you watched that blew your mind.

• ​A physical object that represents "time" or "existence" to you.

• ​When: June 7th, Sunday | Arrive at 4:30 PM to grab a drink and settle in.

• ​Where: Living room of U 4/ 3 Palmerston Avenue

• ​RSVP: Because we want to keep this space intimate and conversational, spots are strictly limited to 12. Please let us know if you can make it by May 24th so we can save your seat.
