Bring a book, bring an appetite. We're gathering at Makira for a night of Japanese literature — the quiet devastation of Kawabata, the dreamlike drift of Murakami, the sharp modern voices of Kawakami and Ogawa. Read something new, share something you loved, eat well between chapters.
