​📍 Meet-Up: Bunker Bean Cafe near Hornsby Station

​For group commute, we will meet at Central Station at 7:20am to take the 7:33am Train on Platform 18 & head to Hornsby Station.

​The trailhead is a 25min walk from the station via Quarry Road and Heritage Steps.

​☕ Optional Pre-Hike Coffee – 8:30 AM

​We’ll meet at Bunker Bean Cafe, Hornsby from 8:30 AM for anyone who’d like to grab coffee before we start.

​Completely optional. Everyone covers their own order.

It’s a relaxed way to meet the girls before we head off.

​🥾 Hike Overview

​We’ll be walking one of the prettiest and most loved walks in the Hornsby area, the Blue Gum Loop takes us through a beautiful mix of landscapes. 

​• Start Time: 9:00 AM sharp (from Bunker Bean Cafe)
• Duration: 3–4 hours
• Distance: 7km if coming from Hornsby Station
• Elevation Gain: 374m
• Track Type: Loop
• Grade: 3.5– Moderately Challenging to Challenging

​We’ll wander through lush fern-filled bushland, open forest, and dry sandstone country as we make our way toward Berowra Creek.

​We keep a steady, social pace with short breaks along the way.

​If weather conditions become unsafe (heavy rain, flooding, thunderstorms), we may postpone or adjust the event as creek crossings may be impassable following heavy rain events.

• Within 72 hours: no refunds, but ticket transfers are allowed
