A Look Inside Aviation & Air Cargo with Jim Edgar
Look Inside the Industry: From Air Force One to Boeing
This is part of our "A Look Inside…" series where we'll give you an opportunity to meet professionals from a wide variety of fields.
Our guest has spent more than 50 years in air transportation — flying as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, supporting two presidents while assigned to Air Force One, managing passenger and cargo terminals in the U.S. and the Middle East, and building a career with American Airlines before spending three decades at Boeing, most of it as a Regional Director of Marketing. Along the way he served on the Board of Directors of The International Air Cargo Association and chaired its Education & Research Committee.
He also holds a degree in Economics and an M.B.A. in International Business — and since retiring, he has stayed active in his local church, guest lectures at Christian universities across the country, and serves on boards for educational and charitable organizations.
