Aug 11 Palo Alto Mountain View Community Bike Ride
When: Tuesday Aug 11 - assemble at 5:15pm, leave at 5:30pm sharp
Route: head south on the protected bike lanes of El Camino Real. Passing by Eagle Park in Mountain View (where we usually turn around) we will continue another two miles via quiet side streets and the Stevens Creek bike trail to the Ameswell Hotel. Ameswell is providing light food and drinks at their fun outdoor space. Afterwards, we will bike two miles to the Mountain View Caltrain station then train two stops with our bikes back to the starting point on Cal Ave. A 9 mile flat route.
Benefits: socialize with other bike advocates, exercise, activate ECR protected bike lanes, help others feel comfortable using bike lanes
Safety tips: helmet required, brightly-colored clothing to be more visible to drivers advised
