​In our last The Compass discussion series, we gathered to debate AI and the reality of being replaced by technology. For our next discussion, we are diving into the concept of the birth lottery. We invite you to join us and share your unique perspectives, knowledge, and personal experiences. If you love connecting with others over deep, meaningful topics, this is the place for you!

​One ought to ask, when the cosmic dice is thrown, what do we do?

​Some enter the world amidst serenity, while others are cast into chaos.

​Some people inherit war; others inherit peace.

​Some are born into privilege, while others inherit only poverty.

​Some people are born with perfect health, and some with sickness.

​While the concept of the birth lottery views our initial life chances as a product of random circumstance, counter-arguments suggest that these conditions are mapped out by fate or destiny.

Random or destined, is there a way to make the birth lottery fairer for everyone? and is that a goal actually worth pursuing? Does birth lottery determine the rest of our lives? Do our actions have the final say?
