About Event

Part of Twin Cities Startup Week 2026, September 14–18.

What does it actually look like to build your first startup while you’re still learning how entrepreneurship works?

Swarn Pratap Singh, Schulze Innovation Scholar at the University of St. Thomas and Co-Founder of Notifybear, shares his experience building an AI startup as a student founder. From developing and pivoting the product to figuring out customers, funding, mentorship, and how to build with a team across continents, Swarn will share what he’s building and what he’s learning along the way.

He’ll also reflect on how the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship and the broader Twin Cities startup community have shaped his experience, and what other students should know if they’re wondering whether they’re ready to start building something of their own.
