LWVSF member hike
Lace up your sneakers for our very first member hike! We'll take a scenic 5-mile loop route through San Francisco’s northern waterfront and the Presidio. As we stretch our legs, we’ll enjoy our incredible city and share great conversation.
Whether you've been with the League a long time or are brand new, it’s a perfect chance to connect with the amazing member community that makes our work possible. Members, feel free to invite friends interested in joining LWVSF.

The route
Our hike is a fairly flat 5-mile loop route. Prefer a shorter walk? There are convenient spots to turn back early or hop on public transit.
We’ll meet at Equator Coffees (Laguna St & Marina Blvd) and head west along Marina Green toward Crissy Field East Beach. After winding past Crissy Field Marsh, we’ll visit Presidio Tunnel Tops park, where sweeping bay views await.
From there, we’ll take a break at Il Parco, where you can buy a coffee or snack, before continuing along Presidio Parade Lawn to El Polín Spring, a site rich with history and natural beauty. We'll pass through the historic Letterman complex and Palace of Fine Arts before finishing at our starting point.
We’ll send a route map with details about public transit, parking, and more closer to the hike date.
