NO RSVP NEEDED — MEMBER DROP-IN EVENT

Join us at Sansaar Books for a private member screening of Erica Tremblay’s 2023 drama, Fancy Dance.

On the Seneca-Cayuga reservation in Oklahoma, Jax, played by Lily Gladstone, searches for her missing sister while raising her niece, Roki. When the state takes Roki away, Jax takes her on the road to get to a powwow where Roki has promised to dance with her mother. Tremblay, who is Seneca-Cayuga, tells a family story about the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
