You want to know what Lumina is. Fine. But you won't find it in the guest list, or the press coverage, or any of that - and if that's what you came for, I pity you, I genuinely do.
We began in London. Artists, writers, people who think too much and feel more than that - people who have been told all their lives to be less. They walked in as one thing and left as something they couldn't name yet. Was that us? Was that them? I couldn't tell you. I'm not sure the distinction matters.
What I know is this: there is a type of person who reads something like this and feels, somewhere in the chest, an obscure tightening. A recognition they have learned to distrust. We are for that person. We have always been for that person.
The next artists won't ask permission. Neither will we.
The location will be revealed tonight, to those it needs to reach. It always finds the right people.
