mainstreet is a private investment firm based in California. The fund was founded by Ike Okereke (Harvard alum) and AK Okereke (Cornell alum, Los Angeles Lakers Forward), and is backed by an array of notable LPs ranging from pro athletes to private equity executives.
We partner with select founders to build and invest in enduring institutions.
We're hiring mainstreet fellows from Harvard. Throughout the 2026-27 school year, mainstreet fellows will conduct on-the-ground sourcing in Cambridge/Boston, perform diligence on some of the most interesting deals in private markets, craft investment roadmaps, and develop startup ideas. Both of last year's fellows incubated startups with mainstreet and then did YC S26.
