​Our relationship with the ELK stack was… complicated. It did the job but at a high cost, constant babysitting, and with blind spots we couldn’t ignore.

As our systems evolved into a more distributed architecture, we needed tracing alongside logs and metrics which pushed ELK beyond its comfort zone. After evaluating alternatives, we decided to give ClickHouse a serious try. The results? Blazing fast queries, simpler operations, and a major boost in visibility.

​This session is a deep dive into how we migrated our logging and tracing backend from ELK to ClickHouse — what worked, what didn’t, and what we learned along the way.
